Maren no Rokukishi – Past Chronicles

Sorry for the late post. I was sick for the last few days, and I had to rest my eyes since they were so red. (ノД`)・゜・。 This should be the last part of Maren no Rokukishi. Enjoy~ ヽ(*´∀`*)ﾉ

The past chronicles are divided into six parts: Vahn, Leviath’s past, Walter, Ka-Fai, Johannes and Mayleath. Vahn and Mayleath’s chronicles are connected, but the latter’s chronicle will be unlocked after clearing the other five. Vahn’s chronicle focuses on his past, both Walter and Ka-Fai’s show us what happened during their last mission, Johannes’ is about his side of the story, and Mayleath’s gives us a better view about Leviath’s background.

Maren no Rokukishi – Leviath

The last route in the game. It seems like Leviath breaks the hearts of a million fangirls out there because he doesn’t have a love ending. As for me.. I’m not heartbroken. I’m just disappointed.

The charismatic leader of the knights. 28 years old. Leviath’s skills both as a swordsman and as a magician is undoubtedly top-notch, and everyone in the mercenary group respects him a lot. He usually moves on his own and rarely gets involved with everyone else, so his whole existence is shrouded in mystery. Leviath has a huge objective behind the knights’ activities, but only Cain and Kiefer know about what he’s trying to achieve.

Maren no Rokukishi – Cain

The last knight before I go back to Leviath’s route. I left Cain and Kiefer for last just because they have been following Leviath right from the start, but in the end it doesn’t really matter lol.

The leader of the Kanan (“冠闇 / Dark Crowns“) troops. 29 years old. Cain has been following Leviath right from the beginning of his journey, and he’s been assisting Leviath as the advisor. Quiet and intelligent, Cain actually doesn’t like fighting. Teresa thinks of him as the most reliable person among the knights, and he also helps Renaud with his studies. Because of a trauma in the past, Cain tends to keep a distance away from people. He wields a sword in battle.

Maren no Rokukishi – Kiefer

To be completely honest, my motivation to do Kiefer’s route is almost zero. He’s rather harsh towards Teresa from the prologue, but this route improves my impression of him somehow.

The leader of the Hiei (“氷鋭 / Iceblades“) troops. 27 years old. Along with Cain, Kiefer has been working under Leviath for a long time. He’s an aristocrat who came from a noble family, but unfortunately he’s also an extreme sadist who loves torturing people with brutal methods. Kiefer was hated and shunned by his own family because of his personality, so he grew up hating his family as well. He wields a sword in battle and enjoys massacre on the battlefield.

Maren no Rokukishi – Gerhard

Since I’m leaving Cain and Kiefer for last, Gerhard is next on the list. It’s been a while since the last time I heard Hiyama’s voice in otome games, so I keep getting Tokimemo GS flashbacks lol.

The captain of the Kairyuu (“海竜 / Leviathan“) troops. 22 years old. Gerhard was a pirate, so his troops members are actually his loyal pirate crews. Huge, lively and proud of his physical strength, Gerhard loves telling “spiced-up” stories of his adventures. He spends most of his time among men, so he doesn’t have much experience in handling women. Gerhard wields a giant cutlass in battle, and he’s unbeatable in terms of physical strength. Maria’s older brother.

Maren no Rokukishi – Sionna

It’s Kaji time! ヽ(*ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ Sionna was the reason why I played this game, though I end up loving Giovanni instead lol. Kaji uses his low voice here, so it’s heaven if you’re into his lower range.

The leader of the Daten (“堕天 / Fallen Angels“) troops. 15 years old. Sionna is a genius who loves reading and researching, but his extremely high intelligence caused him to commit a sin in the past. He always feels lonely and empty because of this, not to mention he also has the tendencies to stay detached from people. Despite leading the sniper troops, Sionna fights with a knife in the battlefield. He’s actually quite inexperienced in direct war or battle.

Maren no Rokukishi – Eugene

Next up is Eugene, because he steals my attention somehow. He’s actually really gentle and kind beneath that emotionless exterior, so I wanted to see what kind of romance he will bring.

The leader of the Gekkou (“月光 / Moonlight“) troops. 21 years old. Eugene is a good-looking, cold young man who devotes himself entirely to Leviath. He’s incredibly loyal and is willing to go to extreme lengths to carry out Leviath’s order. Eugene doesn’t trust Teresa at first, but he has a soft spot for Renaud and protects him during their missions. Eugene’s main weapon is a sword, but he also has assassination weapons and tricks hidden up his sleeves.
