Kaeru Batake – Norizuki Ren
Sorry I’ve been slacking off on otome games again, but finally I’ve finished Ren’s route today. I’m glad I left Ren for last since his route is the best in Kaeru Batake, even more than Yuuki’s.

Head of the broadcasting club, and also Fuu’s senior despite looking younger than everyone else. Ren has a fluffy personality and image, but he’s doing his best to be a good senior for Fuu and her friends. He also calls Chigira “Chii-chan” and is actually pretty close to him. From time to time he’d also say weird, rude things that doesn’t go well with the situation around him. He really loves cats and unlike Masaomi, the cats love him too.

Kaeru Batake – Togami Akimori
This took longer than I expected since Togami is seriously annoying me with that laugh of his. I had to stop playing several times because it keeps resonating in my head. (i|!゜Д゚i|!)ヒィィィ

The loud and outrageous ore-sama president of the student council, though he’s rarely seen doing any work for the student council. He’s a natural airhead whose head works slowly, and he’s really bad at remembering people’s names. Togami defines his own sense of aesthetic and is brimming with baseless confidence, but he’s also generous and brave. He loves birds as well as small kids, and he often plays with them in the park.

Kaeru Batake – Maibara Misaki
Yuuki’s pair is Ren and I was thinking of doing him next.. but everyone told me to do him last, so I did Misaki first. He’s a funny character, though I have mixed feelings about this route.

A teacher in Tsukiyado High School, and also the caretaker of Kaeru Batake dorm. Misaki lives by feeling, but he’s not popular at all thanks to his goofy personality. He’s an M who gets excited over misfortunes that fall upon himself though. Most female students in the school think his personality is “disgusting” even though he has good looks. Misaki is good at cooking and cooks delicious meals for everyone in the dorm daily. He also hates spoilers to death.

Kaeru Batake – Hirose Yuuki
I know I referred to Yuuki by his family name before, but starting from this post I’ll just use his first name. Why? Because Touya’s nickname for everyone stuck, and because I like his name.

The honor student. Yuuki has good influence on people and makes quite a good leader too. He’s the type who can do anything and is pretty mature for his age, having the most stable personality compared to everyone around him. He’s also in the broadcasting club with Fuu, and often throws merciless sarcasm to stop Misaki from going wild. Since he’s such a good person with a straight personality, Ren and Chigira gave him the nickname “Jimi” / plain.

Kaeru Batake – Kuga Masaomi
Next up is Masaomi, because he shared some events with Mukuto. This is probably my first time seeing Kishio Daisuke doing this kind of role, but I think he did a great job. Σd(・ω・*)

A first year student just like Fuu, though in a different class. Masaomi has nice grades, good at sports and has good looks.. but he’s gloomy. He’s passive, timid and doesn’t have any friends, though he’s trying to do something about it. Masaomi likes electronic gadgets and anime, and he gets excited if those subjects come up. He also loves cats, but sadly they’d hiss and bite him instead. Despite his weak personality, Masaomi actually has a strong will.

Kaeru Batake – Hamura Mukuto
Starting off with Mukuto because we all know tsundere boys are adorable. ( *´艸`)クスッ♪ He’s voiced by Sugiyama Noriaki, so I keep hearing Boris at first. His frog voice is really cute. ♥

Classmates with Fuu, though they have never talked until the frog incident. Mukuto is blunt and has a bad mouth, often picking up fights with people with his sarcasm. He also has zero patience and doesn’t take opinions from anyone, not realizing that he’s often the cause of arguments with other people. In other words, a tsundere. Despite this attitude, Mukuto isn’t a bad person and will tell everyone his opinion when necessary.

Kaeru Batake DE Tsukamaete
The only Takuyo game I’ve ever played so far was Panic Palette, and I didn’t finish it because my PS2 died. But I’ve heard good things about their games, so now I decided to do a Takuyo marathon starting with this title. Don’t forget to check the lovely banner on the sidebar. (*´∀`*)

For their school radio program, Sugano Fuu and her friends are searching for the seven wonders of their school. They find an old shrine at school and accidentally broke it, splitting the small frog statue nearby in half. They also noticed a broken ancient relic lying nearby, which then started blowing thick purple smoke. When they opened their eyes, Fuu and her friends found that they have all turned into frogs!
