Atelier Elkrone – Ralf

First up is Ralf, our tsundere #1. He’s pretty much the “in-love-by-default” character in Elkrone, but he always covers it up by being extra thorny. Cuteness and delicious development ahead!

Ralf is an alchemist who’s enrolled in the highest institute in the academy, the “Meister Rank”. He’s well-known as a prodigy in the academy, and he has a strong desire to improve. Aiming to become a top world-class alchemist, Ralf is planning to leave Elkrone and move to a larger stage in the future. Ralf sat next to Meri in the academy for four years, and he’s been treating her as his rival ever since. His parents own the Singing Bird Inn, located beside Meri’s atelier.

Atelier Elkrone – Common Route

Since Elkrone has a long common route, I decided to put it in a separate post so we can focus on the individual routes later. The request list is still incomplete for now since you have to do at least 2 routes to see everything, so I’ll keep updating this post with more details. (*´∀`*)

The city of Elkrone has “Three Grand Summer Festivals”: the Flower Festival, the Port Festival and the Spirit Festival. Popote’s request notebook is divided into three sections based on these festivals, and this post is also split into three parts for better flow. The individual requests and scenes will be posted in each guy’s route, but I’ll link them back here to connect their events to the main plot. The common route starts on May 7, one day right after the prologue.

Atelier Elkrone ~Dear for Otomate~

After spending two months spoiling myself with lighter stuff, it’s time for me to go back to long adventure games. ヽ(。・ω・。)ﾉ This is a must-play if you’re a fan of the series, but do keep in mind that Elkrone is a visual novel. It’s not an RPG, so don’t expect battles or free item creation.

Meriel, or Meri for short, is a young alchemist living in the city of Elkrone. Following her dream to help people with her alchemy, she reopens her late grandmother’s atelier after graduating from the academy. The first client who comes to seek Meri’s help is a fairy named Popote, and he wants her to make an item called “Aoi Wakkakka” until the Spirit Festival. Popote will pay for the request by helping Meri in the atelier, and so it marks the day they became partners.

Brothers Conflict Vol. 6

This will be the last Brothers Conflict novel summary for now, since vol. 7 will be released in summer. Iori completely snaps in this volume, and Kaname’s reaction is so heartbreaking. ;__;

Knowing she can’t leave things hanging forever, Ema decides to accept everyone’s feelings and give them an answer. Following this decision, someone answers that he will wait for her, someone else is mocking her, and a certain someone is trying to destroy that decision with his blind love. In this volume, Tsubaki still finds it hard to visit Azusa, everyone goes on an autumn trip to Nagano, and an unexpected incident envelops this year’s Christmas Eve with darkness.

Brothers Conflict Vol. 5

A lot of people seem to be craving for more Rui, and he finally receives his own spotlight here in vol. 5. On the other hand, things are starting to get even more dangerous with our dear Iori..

The sparks of conflict among the brothers, combined with the truth about her real identity, are causing Ema to feel confused about everything. She wonders what a family truly means.. but in the end, the one who helps clearing that confusion is none other than her family. In the fifth volume, the bond between Ema and the brothers grow stronger, everyone enjoys going to the summer festival, Iori reveals what he truly feels, and something is happening to Azusa’s body.

Brothers Conflict Vol. 4

Sorry for the long delay. I was exhausted after the trip and got a bit distracted with Tokimemo GS Premium 3rd Story, but here’s the summary for vol. 4. Sadly not too many Yusuke events.

Whether Ema wants it or not, she can’t deny the facts that her brothers are falling in love with her one by one. Her kindness drives a certain someone towards the edge of desperation, and in the end it only causes more conflicts to come her way. In the fourth volume, everyone goes flower-viewing together in spring, Fuuto shocks Ema with his choice of high school, she goes on a beach trip with the triplets, and she also finds the shocking truth about her real identity.

Brothers Conflict Vol. 3

As I promised, here’s the summary for volume 3. A lot of things are happening and hints about future events are everywhere, but the main focus are Kaname, Iori’s past, and the triplets. :3

Even though Ema wants to stay with everyone as a family, the brothers are slowly starting to look at her in a different way. As they continue living under the same roof, their relationship is starting to cross the line. In this volume, Tsubaki’s sad expression causes Ema’s heart to beat faster, everyone goes to have an enjoyable family ski trip, and the shadow of Iori’s dark past is finally revealed — along with how Kaname tries to solve the seemingly dangerous situation.
