Since I’m done with the main guys, it’s time to move on to the sub-characters. Takashi is adorable, and it’s not because I’m biased towards Kimura Ryouhei. It’s not that, okay. (`・ω・´)ｷﾘｯ He’s also the main comic relief of the series.
Takashi is one of Yuna’s classmates in 2-C. He’s always cheerful, lively and loves anything fun. Even though he’s not good in using his head, he’s very dedicated and loyal in everything he does. He might be overshadowed by all the popular guys around him, but he’s actually the ace of the kendo club — which is a great achievement considering he’s still a second year. Due to his friendly personality, Takashi and Yuna have been good friends ever since her transfer.

During the beach volley session, Yuna cheers for Takashi. He happily grins and jumps to spike the ball for her, but he completely misses the target and falls flat on his butt. ﾌﾟｯ(※థэథ)∵.*.∵ After the match, Takashi thanks Yuna for supporting him earlier. He feels bad since he couldn’t do much, but she tells him that she feels cheerful just by watching him play. Takashi nervously laughs and asks Yuna to play beach volley with him next time, because he wants to make good summer memories with her.

Yuna notices a little boy crouching on the shore. When she asks him if there’s something wrong, he suddenly cries saying he got separated from his friends. She tries asking him questions about his friends, but the boy keeps on crying until Takashi comes and tells her not to flood the poor buy with questions — it’s making him even more confused. He then asks the boy to stop crying if he doesn’t want to be seen as a crybaby, and the boy introduces himself as Hiroki. Knowing they have to adjust their pace with Hiroki’s, Takashi invites her to go on an adventure to find his friends. Hiroki is a warrior, Takashi is a knight, and Yuna is a dancer. Takashi also mentions that Yuna’s not that sexy, though he quickly apologizes when she rages at him. (○´ﾟωﾟ｀):;*.’:;ﾌﾞｯ Eventually they find Hiroki’s friends on the beach, and before they part ways, Hiroki calls Takashi “aniki” because he admires and respects Takashi. This leads to his friends doing the same thing, and they say Yuna is their “anego” since she’s Takashi’s wife. (*ﾉ∀ﾉ)ｲﾔﾝ Of course Takashi blushes saying Yuna and him are only friends, but the kids tell him to confess and start dating. They’re willing to help too! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Takashi only sighs saying kids these days are so mature, and Yuna can see that he’s well-loved by kids because of his kindness.

When everyone plays fireworks together, Takashi invites Yuna to launch rocket fireworks with him. He says they can really feel that it’s summer when they play fireworks, and after a short silence, she noticing that he’s looking at her. She asks him what’s wrong, and he answers with “so beautiful” ..but realizing what he just said, he quickly adds that he’s talking about the fireworks. (❤ฺ￫艸￩) Takashi then asks Yuna to play fireworks with him again before summer ends, and she gladly agrees.

As she walks through the hallway, Yuna sees Takashi talking to a girl. At first she thinks the girl is confessing to him, but then he sighs as soon as the girl leaves. After apologizing for listening in, Yuna asks Takashi if there’s something wrong since he looks so dejected. He says it was the 10th time he’s been called by a girl during the trip, and each time he was expecting a confession.. but instead of confessing, they asked him to help hooking them up with the guys they like. (´・ω・`；) Takashi sadly says that men have pure hearts, but Yuna thinks he’s just gullible.. and he admits that he gets that a lot. He then explains that a most girls are using him to get closer to Takumi, Kyousuke and Souya — the popular ones — and they’re destroying his pure heart everytime. Takashi thinks the girls are just playing with his heart and never take him seriously, but Yuna says they actually find him reliable. They know he would support them without laughing or teasing them, and that’s why they’re all asking for his help. Takashi feels a lot better after hearing this, and he asks if Yuna has any plans of dating someone. She answers that she’s not interested at the moment, but she’ll ask for his help if she falls in love with someone. He clearly looks surprised to hear this, but then he promises to prioritize her needs and returns to his room.

Yuna can hear voices from the lobby, and she goes outside to find Takashi practicing kendo in front of the pension. It’s the first time she’s ever saw him doing kendo, and she couldn’t look away until he’s done training — because he looks so different from his usual image. Takashi is surprised when he notices Yuna watching nearby, and he says she should have just called him.. but of course she can’t say that she was charmed by the sight of him practicing. (❤ฺ￫艸￩) When Yuna hands him a towel, Takashi says it’s embarrassing that she caught him practicing even during the seaside school. She thinks it’s good to be high-spirited though, and he admits that the trip reminds him of training camps — it sets him in the mood for practice. Yuna also tells Takashi that he looks like a knight when he’s practicing, and he shyly thanks her saying it’s the first time someone has ever praised him like this. Since they still have time before breakfast, Takashi decides to have another round of practice.. while Yuna thinks about watching his kendo match next time. (人´∀`)☆゜’・:*

For lunch, Takashi invites Yuna to have a meal at the beach house. Unfortunately the place is packed with people, so they order four portions of yakisoba for take-out. One is for Yuna, and the rest is for Takashi. ヽ(*´ー`*)ﾉ They go to eat their lunch outside near the beach volley court, where they enjoy the delicious scent of yakisoba under the blue sky.. until a ball flies towards them and knocks everything off their hands. Σ (ﾟдﾟ ﾉ)ﾉ Kyousuke and Souya soon come to apologize and ask if they’re alright, so Yuna says they’re fine — it’s just their yakisoba has fallen to the ground and can’t be eaten anymore. Both Kyousuke and Souya are glad since their yakisoba is the only victim, but Takashi is definitely not happy about this. They promise to buy another one for Yuna and him, but Takashi rages saying the yakisoba they knocked earlier couldn’t fulfill its mission — filling his empty stomach! ＼(^o^)／ Realizing that Takashi has completely snapped, Kyousuke and Souya quickly run away, but Takashi chases after them saying he’ll get revenge for his fallen yakisoba. ﾌﾟｯ(※థэథ)∵.*.∵ Despite all this mess, Yuna finds it really fun to spend her time with Takashi.

When everyone goes to the summer festival together, Takashi invites Yuna to walk around the shrine with him. He can’t believe his ears when she says yes, and he buys two cotton candies for them. When the owner of the stand asks if they’re a couple, he lets out a nervous laugh and asks if they look like lovers. (๑´ლ`๑)♡ Of course this puts Takashi in a good mood, and he asks the owner to keep the change while Yuna blushes beside him. After leaving the stand, he admits that he feels happy to be mistaken as her boyfriend. Since people seem to see them as a couple, Takashi then asks if Yuna wants to pretend to be lovers with him. It’s just until the summer festival ends, so they can “practice” for when they have a relationship. They start off by calling each other’s first names, and he goes ﾟ+o｡ﾄﾞｷｭ―(*ﾟдﾟ*)―ﾝ｡o+ﾟ when she calls him “Takashi”. xD He then takes a doll for her from the shooting gallery, which she names “Tacchan” based on his name. Yuna really enjoys her time with Takashi, and she thinks about how nice it would be to date him. ﾟ+.(*ﾉωヾ*)ｬﾝ♪+

Yuna finds Takashi in the hallway, surrounded by Wakana, Naomi and Mimi. They tell her that he was trying to peek at them bathing earlier, so now they’re scolding him with no mercy. As they call him the worst repeatedly, the poor guy is only sitting in the corner. Even when Yuna tries to defend him, Takashi only says it was indeed his fault. After the girls left, Yuna asks if Takashi was really planning to take a peek.. because she knows he’s not that kind of person. At first Takashi remains silent, but knowing that Yuna wants to hear the truth, Chihiro comes out saying Takashi is a victim as well. The ones who were trying to peek are actually other guys, and he was actually trying to stop them. The girls completely misunderstood this and accused him as the culprit, but he kept quiet in order to protect his friends. He wants everyone to enjoy the trip until the very end, and so he took the blame to avoid further commotion. Yuna is worried about him, but Takashi says he’ll be able to laugh it off eventually. She actually wants to clear his name, but she respects his decision and keeps quiet.
Before bedtime, Takashi tells everyone about a mysterious cave deep in the woods. The local kids told him there’s a treasure from the Sengoku era hidden inside, so he’s expecting everyone to get excited.. but none of them are interested. They don’t believe it and nobody wants to check the cave with him, so the poor guy runs off saying he’ll find the treasure by himself. Yuna is worried since the woods might be dangerous at night, and she chases after him all the way into the woods. Sadly she loses sight of him along the way, and as if getting lost in the woods isn’t bad enough, rain suddenly starts pouring down from the sky. Yuna eventually finds Takashi when she’s searching for a shelter, and he admits that he’s actually lost too. He doesn’t know the way back to the pension, and neither does she. Σ(´д` ｌｌｌ) With no other choice in hand, Takashi and Yuna then take shelter in a cave nearby. It’s cold since they’re both drenched, so they nervously sit next to each other to keep themselves warm. After an awkward silence, Takashi apologizes to Yuna for dragging her into this situation. However, she tells him it’s okay because this is a good memory for her. She doesn’t want to deny his dreams, and she asks if he wants to search for a treasure in the cave. He asks if she finds him childish, but she tells him that she doesn’t. She knows he enjoys everything that he does, and she thinks it’s wonderful how he tries to share the enjoyment with everyone. Takashi finally smiles upon hearing this, and he says Yuna is really kind — he finds it soothing to be with her.
Takashi then asks if Yuna has someone she likes, and he admits that he’s been thinking about this for quite a while. He’s about to confess to her when they suddenly hear an eerie howl, and soon enough, a violent wild dog enters the cave. After telling Yuna to hide behind his back, Takashi picks up a branch and asks her to leave everything to him — he’ll protect her. She’s really scared when the wild dog jumps towards him, but he uses his magnificent kendo skills to chase it away. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Yuna soon notices that Takashi’s arm is bleeding, and despite him telling her that it’s okay, she insists that they have to treat it properly. She grabs his arm when he tries to walk away, which then causes both of them to lose balance — resulting in her falling on top of him. 8D Yuna quickly apologizes and tries to move away, but Takashi holds her hand and asks her to look at him. He then confesses that he’s been in love with her for a long time. His feelings grew stronger as they spend time together during the trip, and he wants to stay with her forever. ||萌||ョ´∀`。)萌えぇ～↑He knows that he’s not as cool as Kyousuke or Souya, but he loves her and asks her to go out with him. Takashi then asks for Yuna’s answer.. but like she’s gonna say no. (๑´ლ`๑)♡
The sun is already rising by the time they make it out of the woods. In the end they didn’t find any treasure, nor did they have the time to search for it.. but Takashi is happy since he found something more valuable. Yuna asks if he found it before he met her in the woods, and he grins saying it’s her — she’s more precious than any treasure. Takashi then asks Yuna to stay with him forever, and as they walk along the beach holding hands, he finally tells her that he loves her. (ღˇ◡ˇ)~♥
In the epilogue, Yuna spends the remaining summer vacation with Takashi. They meet up at the shopping arcade for a date, and he blushes when she asks him about today’s plans. Up until now they only had short conversations whenever they run into each other in the city, so it gives him the realization that they’re dating now. Takashi asks if Yuna is really okay with him, but she tells him that she wouldn’t date him if she doesn’t love him. He smiles saying that’s why he loves her, and he excitedly asks her to enjoy the remaining summer with him. They already went to the beach, so next time they’re going to the pool, watch movies, eat ice creams or visit another summer festival. He still gets nervous when she gets too close, even asking if he can kiss her, but he’ll get used to it over time. Takashi then asks Yuna to stay by his side forever, promising to protect her for the rest of his life. ♪ﾟ+.ｏ(*萌´д`从´д`萌*)ｏ.+ﾟ♪
Yuna finds Takashi at the pier, and he jumps in surprise when she talks to him. He says that he was just thinking, and she asks him to share with her — she’ll listen to his problems. Takashi then asks Yuna to listen carefully, and he shouts “I LOVE YOU!!” towards the sea. ｲﾔﾝ☆(*´∀`)σ)))))*3ﾟ),･´.､ He turns around asking if it reached her, and she knows he’s waiting for her answer.
Yuna wakes up to find Takashi beside her, and he greets her with “good morning, my cute wife.” +.(*ﾉωヾ*)ｬﾝ♪+ﾟ Since she looks surprised, he asks if she’s still half-asleep — reminding her that they’ve been married for four years now. They started going out after meeting through a reunion, and currently they’re happily married. Takashi then tells Yuna that the kids are already up, and they’re having honey toast for breakfast today. Two years ago Takashi lost his job due to a company restructuring, so now he’s a house husband — taking care of the household and the kids. Before taking their daughter to kindergarten, he kisses Yuna and says he’s really glad to have married her. He’ll do his best as a house husband for her too. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
Man, Takashi is such a sweet guy. ･*:｡゜萌。*(＊´∀`＊).*ぇﾟ*･｡・ He treasures his friends a lot, and it’s clear that he takes a really good care of Yuna once they started dating. It’s too bad he doesn’t have a kiss CG, but the overall sweetness of his route and the cute moments make up for it. Takashi keeps stressing that he’s plain and everyone treats him as a comic relief, but he fits the knightly role really well. I’ve been eyeing him ever since I started on Storm Lover Kai, so his route here only makes me love him even more. Again, please excuse me for being so biased by putting a larger CG of him. Takashi needs more love. (๑´ლ`๑)❤
