Dot Kareshi II – Knight

This is the last route in Dot Kareshi II. I saved Knight for last so he can enjoy the torture of waiting, and then bask in the spotlight with all of his do-M glory. Okay, no. I lied. I’m sorry. It was simply because he’s the old man leader of this party.

ナイト (CV:平川大輔)

Knight has always been a devoted person to begin with, but since you used him to protect the party too much… he completely evolved into a do-M. In order to seek more pain, Knight often throws himself into various danger. Recently, his objective tends to shift from protecting people to finding more torture for his own pleasure. Knight is also a gentleman who cares a lot about his image. He wields a hammer and a large shield in battle. 183 cm / 73 kg. His blood type is A.

Quest: KNIGHT

If you choose Knight’s quest, he says he believed you’d pick him. It doesn’t change the fact that it makes him happy though, so much that he wants to kneel down and pledge his eternal loyalty to you. ヽ(*´ー`*)ノ When Beastmaster complains about how Knight is getting excited all by himself, Dancer says it he must be feeling extremely lucky—as if he’s used up all the luck in his entire life LOL. Beastmaster thinks it’s so shabby how Knight has to use up all his luck just to be chosen by you, but then he nods saying Knight is an old man after all. His days are numbered, and so he probably doesn’t have that much luck left in his life. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Knight soon comes saying he can hear everything, so Beastmaster and Dancer immediately apologize with a smile. They politely call him “the great, almighty Knight”, but he knows they’re doing this on purpose. 。゚(゚ノ∀`゚)゚。アヒャヒャ It doesn’t matter though, because you chose him and nothing can change that fact. He’ll just generously accept their words as the losers’ grumblings. ✿*,(*´◕ω◕`*)+✿.*

Beastmaster frowns saying Knight is really pushing it, while Dancer adds that he’s probably in high spirits right now—because this might be his first and last “period of popularity” in life. (((壊゚∀゚)))ァヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャ Ignoring them, Knight wonders what happened to Monk since the latter is being awfully silent. When they turn around, they find Monk frozen in silence. Dancer lightly explains that Monk was really shocked since you didn’t choose him, so now he’s completely petrified. Σ(゚ー゚;) Beastmaster thinks it’s amazing how he expected to be chosen in the first place though. Dancer nods saying it’s simply impossible in Monk’s case, and as terrible as that may sound… Knight has to agree. Poor Monk LOL.

When Beastmaster asks what kind of quest he’s going to take, Knight says it’s a monster extermination quest. Upon hearing this, both Beastmaster and Dancer’s eyes instantly go to Pe. Σ(-`Д´-ノ;)ノ!? Knight instantly protests and asks what kind of person do they take him for, since there’s no way he’s going to exterminate Beastmaster’s pet. It’d end the quest in one second. Dancer says it wasn’t intentional since the penguin is sitting right in front of their eyes, and Beastmaster adds that he’d never let Knight attack his pet. Knight only sighs and gives up, saying they should leave and do the quest for now. Beastmaster and Dancer are about to follow him, but then you point out that they’re forgetting something. Or rather, someone. They completely forgot about him, but poor Monk is still frozen in his seat. Beastmaster wants to forget him forever, but Knight points out that Monk is an important attacker in battles. They just can’t leave him forgotten like that.

Knight then asks Dancer to cure Monk’s petrification, but Dancer says it’s impossible. It’s not a curse nor a spell, so recovery magic and herbs won’t work on him. This clearly poses as a problem for them, though Beastmaster seems happy to see Knight stumbling before the quest can even start. When Knight wonders what they should do, Beastmaster says they have no option but to leave Monk behind. If they can’t cure him, he’ll only become a burden—in a lot of ways. However, Knight tells them to think about what would happen if Monk snaps out of the petrification after they leave. Dancer answers that Monk would go wild, and Knight nods saying this worn-out pub would be destroyed if that happens. Right after saying this, he immediately apologizes to the bartender for talking bad about the pub. (○´゚ω゚`):;*.’:;ブッ

In any case, the pub would turn into a mountain of rubbles if Monk goes wild. Knight says they wouldn’t be able to drink anymore, which makes Beastmaster realize that he’s doing this for drinks—not for Monk LOL. Dancer doesn’t want that to happen though, and Beastmaster agrees that it’s a problem. This is the only pub in town, so it’d be inconvenient for them if the pub is gone. The problem is they don’t know how to cure Monk, and Knight asks if you know any solutions. While you can’t think up of anything, this gives Beastmaster a nice idea. They might be able to cure the petrification with this method, but he won’t take any responsibility of what happens after that. Knight couldn’t care less about the risks though. As he asks Beastmaster to explain, Dancer points out that he’s being super irresponsible because he wants to do the quest. 三ヾ(*´ω`)ノ゙ ウッヒョヒョ♪ Knight answers that it’s HIS quest, so he has the right to make decisions. When he asks if Dancer wants to stay behind with Monk, Dancer instantly changes his mind and agrees to deal with the risks later. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Now that Dancer approves, Knight asks Beastmaster for the solution… and Beastmaster says they should let Monk touch your chest. ヽ(*´ー`*)ノ Despite what they said earlier, both Knight and Dancer are shocked to hear this. The plan might work since they’re attacking Monk’s weakness, but they can’t predict what’s going to happen next. Or maybe they just have way too many predictions LOL. This throws Knight into a great dilemma, because going with the plan means exposing a lovely maiden to danger… but they don’t have any other options. However, you agree to go with the plan. Beastmaster is really surprised and asks if you really mean it, because it means that “super pervert” will touch your chest—even though he was the one who came up the idea. Knight also asks if you’re serious, and you nod saying you’re doing it for him. Upon hearing this, he says you have such a noble heart and cries tears of gratitude. (o´艸`o)ァハ♪

After accepting your help, Knight promises that he’ll protect your chastity. He already devised a strategy for this. First, Dancer should cast a defensive barrier before they start. As soon as Monk is cured, Dancer should secure you into the barrier immediately. Beastmaster is going to stop Monk’s movements with his whip, and Knight will knock him unconscious with his hammer. When Monk regains consciousness later, he should be calm enough to keep himself under control. d(´∀`*)ネッ! Beastmaster thinks Knight is simply using brute force to calm Monk down, but both Dancer and him have no objections LOL. When Knight gives the command to start, you walk up to Monk and let him touch your chest. Just as expected, Monk instantly explodes with a very loud scream. The plan goes smoothly though, with Knight knocking Monk out in the end. ☆-(ノ゚Д゚)八(゚Д゚ )ノイエーイ

By the time they leave the town, Beastmaster is already exhausted. Dancer smiles saying things worked out somehow, though the pub turned into a tiny sea of blood. Beastmaster doesn’t think it’s “tiny” at all though. Σ(-∀-;) Knight says everyone can participate in the quest thanks to the plan, and so in the end it’s all good. Monk happily nods in agreement, while Beastmaster frowns and tells him to doubt Knight’s words for a bit LOL. Dancer says one of Monk’s good points is that he doesn’t dwell in trivial things, and so Beastmaster decides to drop the subject—even though it’s not trivial at all. (((壊゚∀゚)))ァヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャ

Soon after that, Knight asks everyone to stop and shares the details of the quest. A strong, brutal monster lives in a cave not too far ahead, and their objective is to defeat it. When Monk asks about what kind of monster it is, Knight says there are no more details aside from the strong and brutal part. Dancer asks if they have any reported sightings, but apparently there are none… because the monster never steps out of the cave. Those who ventured into the cave never return alive, so nobody knows any details regarding the monster. Beastmaster asks if it’s really necessary to defeat it, and Dancer nods saying they simply have to avoid the cave. Those who have the courage can enter at their own risk. Monk also asks if the monster is holding a super rare treasure, but Knight says there are no information about that.

Upon hearing this, Beastmaster gets irked and points out that it’d be meaningless to defeat the monster. They should just leave it alone. However, Knight insists that they can’t ignore the monster. If such a scary monster exists, the villagers in the area won’t be able to live in peace. You’re impressed by Knight’s words, but he smiles saying it’s only natural. After all, it’s his duty to protect the weak—keeping them safe and sound. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Beastmaster points out that the monster doesn’t cause any harm though. It doesn’t attack the nearby village, and it doesn’t ask for sacrifices either. Dancer nods saying the monster and the villagers seem to coexist in peace, while Monk adds that they won’t gain anything if there’s no treasure. Despite their arguments, Knight keeps insisting that it’s not the problem. They need to know that as long as a strong monster stands before their eyes, it’ll be their duty to face it fearlessly! ☆ヾ(`д・´(`・д・´)ノ`・д´)ノ゙☆

Beastmaster sighs and says Knight’s “disease” has started again. Dancer can’t believe how much Knight loves that kind of thing, since it looks pretty creepy to him… and even Monk has to agree. On the other hand, you’re completely confused. You think Knight has an wonderful way of thinking, so why are they being so cold towards him? Dancer seems reluctant to answer, while Beastmaster simply says a picture is worth a thousand words. Monk nods saying you’ll understand once you see it later. Completely ignoring them, Knight then leads the party into the cave. Beastmaster and Dancer are clearly not excited though, and Monk is only happy because he might get a chance to release his deathblow today LOL.

After entering the cave, the party easily makes their way inside. They have no problems so far because the monsters are weak, but Knight asks everyone not to drop their guard—they’re almost at the deepest area. Of course the moment he says this, the rumored monster suddenly pops out with a roar. Σ(゚ー゚;) Dancer notes that it’s as if the monster was waiting for the perfect timing to come out, and Monk nods saying the main star of the day has appeared. ヽ(*´ー`*)ノ However, Knight asks them to leave the monster to him and goes to fight it alone… but he keeps getting hit and taking damage. You get worried and asks the others to help Knight, but Beastmaster only tells you to leave him alone. When you protest that he’s being cruel, Beastmaster says he doesn’t want to hear that from a person who abandoned a game and never returns. (((壊゚∀゚)))ァヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャ Monk assures you that it’s alright though. They’re not ignoring Knight because they’re cruel, and Dancer asks you to take a closer look. Knight is actually enjoying the torture—moaning in pleasure with each hit he takes. ( `ω´⊂彡☆))Д´)パ-

The sight really confuses you. You wonder if you’re just imagining things, but Dancer smiles saying you’re not. Beastmaster says Knight is Monk’s comrade, in the sense that both of them love enduring things. Just in different ways. In other words, do-M. ゚.+:。ヾ(o・ω・)ノ゚.+: 。 Upon seeing the shock on your face, Dancer cheers saying they’ve successfully threw a surprise for you. Beastmaster, on the other hand, tells you that Knight turned like that because of you. Since you seem confused, Monk points out that you sent them to attack enemies with brute force. Aside from being a vanguard, Knight is also the shield of the party… and that eventually awakened the do-M in him. ✿*,(*´◕ω◕`*)+✿.* Dancer laughs saying Knight is so creepy, and Beastmaster tells you that it’s too late to be shocked now—you should take a very good look at what you’ve done to them LOL.

Meanwhile, Knight is asking the monster to attack him harder. (⊙ω⊙✿) Dancer says Knight’s defense style is always creepy, but he’s really strong as a shield. Monk nods and points out that despite all the hits he’s taking, his HP is going down very slowly. Dancer thinks it’s about time to heal him though, and so he goes to restore Knight’s HP. At the same time, Beastmaster says that’s how Knight enjoys his do-M play. He can take all the damage he wants, and Dancer would support him from the back. This time it doesn’t continue for long though, because Monk soon says it’s getting dangerous. The damage from the monster is higher than Dancer’s heal, and continuing this would only put them at a disadvantage. Beastmaster notices this too, though he thinks it’s only obvious considering the monster’s strength.

Both Monk and Beastmaster join the battle immediately after, but the monster proves to be tougher than they expected. Due to its high attack power, Dancer is starting to have problems healing everyone in time. When you ask if they’re in a pinch, Knight answers that they are… but then he smiles and admits that he’s feeling mentally satisfied. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Unfortunately, things quickly go downhill for them. The monster hits Monk while he’s charging up his spirit, as well as knocking Pe out before going for Beastmaster. Upon seeing this, Knight asks you to bring out the recovery items in their bag… except they have none. Σ(゚ー゚;) Knight grits his teeth and admits that it’s a careless mistake on his part. They started out strong because this is their second run, so he dropped his guard and forgot to stock up LOL.

This leaves Knight with no choice but to compound recovery items on the spot, and he asks you to do it for them. You’re obviously surprised, but he points out that Dancer is busy healing everyone right now… while laughing and declaring about how fun it is to dance. ヽ(*´ー`*)ノ In any case, he’s useless and it’s just a matter of time before his heals get overwhelmed. Knight says you’re the only one who can compound items at the moment, and he asks if you know how to do it. You have to pick two different herbs and mix them together. He’ll become your shield until you’re done, so he wants you to hurry and pick some herbs. By now the monster has decided to go back to Knight, and he has to take several hits before you manage to find some herbs. However, the monster moves to attack you before you can start compounding… and Knight quickly shields you from the hit.

Despite the damage, Knight assures you that it’s alright. He’s protecting you in front of a wall, and so the monster won’t be able to attack you. He also asks you not to worry, since this level of pain is just like an apéritif for him. (●ゝω・)ゞ⌒☆ Even if he has to use up his last strength, he’ll definitely protect you. Knight then hugs you and promises that he won’t allow the monster to hurt you. No matter what happens to his own body, he’ll definitely keep you safe. Knight takes another hit right after that, but luckily you manage to compound the item successfully. After praising you for doing a good job, Knight asks you to hand the item over and uses it to restore his HP. Now that Knight has recovered, he says it’s time to get serious. He has experienced all of the monster’s attack variations, so now he can read its movements.

Upon seeing your surprised expression, Knight asks if you think that he was just taking damage recklessly like a do-M LOL. He asks you to watch as the main part of the battle is going to begin, and Beastmaster soon reports that Dancer has recovered too. Dancer gleefully replies that he’s brimming with power, and he uses his “deathblow”, High Speed Spin, to fully restore the party’s HP. Knight decides to finish off the monster in one go, so he chants a spell and uses a skill which perfectly compliments his personality—self-destruct. (。-∀-)ニヒ♪ Just as the skill name says, Knight explodes and kills the monster in one hit LOL. Monk praises his beloved comrade for doing such a marvelous job, though Beastmaster thinks it’s a ridiculously dangerous skill since it consumes half of Knight’s HP. When you wonder why Knight has such a risky skill, Beastmaster replies that it was YOU who taught him the skill. 。゚(゚ノ∀`゚)゚。アヒャヒャ Putting that aside, Monk says they’ve successfully cleared the quest… so it’s a happy ending for them. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

By the time the party comes out of the cave, they find the villagers waiting for them outside—cheering for the hero’s return. Beastmaster protests saying they’re not the hero’s party though. The hero of the game is Brave and this isn’t his party, but Dancer says Brave and Knight doesn’t look that much different anyway. Monk nods in agreement, though Beastmaster points out that it’s not the problem LOL. After apologizing for the mistake, the villagers thank Knight for slaying the monster. Now that it’s gone, they will be able to live in peace. Beastmaster sighs saying the monster never did them any harm, but Dancer replies that it’s just how things go. He’s still feeling dizzy after spinning so much though. 。o@(^ゝω・)@o。ニコッ♪ Knight answers that they don’t have to thank him. They’re going to slay the evil lord, so this is nothing much for them. Besides, it’s his wish to protect their peaceful life.

The villagers are impressed by Knight’s determination, and you turn red when Knight flashes his charming smile at everyone. Dancer sighs and points out that you seem fascinated, but Beastmaster tells him to just leave you be. More importantly, he feels tired and wants to go back to town. None of them notice that a certain familiar villager is standing among the crowd, silently smiling as he watches you. (⊙ω⊙✿)

After the Quest

After returning to town, Knight takes you to talk in private. He knows that people will grow attached to a place after living in it for a long time, so he can understand that you want to go home. It’s just his feelings can’t seem to agree. Once you return to your world, you’d never come to the game world again. A miracle won’t happen that often, because the god clearly has other things to do. Knight admits that the thought of you leaving makes him feel terribly lonely, but he’s going to send you off with a smile—because it’s for your sake. He sadly laughs saying he’s so pathetic, and he promises to practice smiling properly until the time comes for you to leave.

Staying with Knight

That day, Knight commits a crime. Chivalry has always been important to him, and yet his action throws it onto the ground. However, he doesn’t regret it in the slightest bit. If you were taken back to your world, the unbearable sense of loss would have driven him to destroy this world. That’s how important you are to him, so he wants you to forgive him for keeping you inside the game…

A few days later, Knight takes you to the woods. He was the one who stopped you from returning, so he’s going to take responsibility. Or maybe “responsibility” isn’t the right word, because he’s not doing this out of sense of duty. You’re truly important for him, so he’s going to protect you with his life. That being said, he believes it won’t hurt for you to learn self-defense just in case. That’s why he’s thinking of training you in swordsmanship, and he asks what you think about the idea. When you cheerfully nod, he smiles saying it makes him happy… because it means you’re ready to continue living in this world. Knight has prepared a sword for you as well. It’s an estoc, which is the lightest among all equipments, so it can be handled by women just fine.

Since Knight uses a hammer in battle, you ask why he’s not teaching you to use one too… but he laughs saying it’ll take decades before you can handle that one. However, Knight agrees to teach you to handle hammers someday. He doesn’t hate the idea of making promises for the future, because it means you’re going to be with him for the decades to come. ゚.+:。((((o・ω・)o))) ゚.+:。♪ …but for now, Knight asks you to focus on the estoc. He explains that it’s used for piercing, just as you can see from the shape of the blade. Despite its light weight, it’s strong enough to pierce through robes and armors. Next, he teaches you how to hold it the right way. He guides you to keep your arms close to your body, face slightly diagonally and lower your hips to the correct position.

Upon noticing that you’re blushing, Knight immediately panics and explains that he’s not touching your hips with dirty thoughts in mind. He looks relieved when you say that you know, but now he feels nervous around you. (。-∀-)ニヒ♪ He realizes that your hips are thin, and your figure is very different from his. You’re rounder and softer. It’s like you were made to be protected instead of fighting, and he can’t hold back the urge to hug you. As he puts his arms around you, Knight admits that he has one regret after stopping you from leaving. It’s because you were supposed to live in a peaceful world without any monsters nor battles, and there’s also no need for you to learn swordsmanship. If you returned home, you’d be able to enjoy a peaceful life. However, the thought of parting with you was unbearable to him. When a light appeared to bring you home, he lost his senses and desperately tried to pull you back.

It was probably the only chance for you to go home, so Knight asks if you resent him for taking it away from you. It’s been bothering him all this time, so he feels relieved when you answer that you don’t. You admit that you weren’t sure about returning either. You didn’t want to be apart from him, and you were happy when he stopped you. Knight is glad to hear this, because it means you’re not staying here for his own self-satisfaction. You’re staying in his arms on your own will, and it makes him love you even more. His feelings for you grow deeper with each passing second, which brings him to the realization that true love knows no bounds. He loves your everything, and he won’t let anyone lay a finger on you—not even on a single strand of your hair. Even if he has to face monsters or gods, he will protect you with his life… so you can just stay in his arms without any worries. You refuse to be protected all the time though. You want to protect him too, and that’s why you want to learn swordsmanship. He laughs saying that’s just like you.

Knight actually wants to keep hugging you forever, but he decides to fulfill your wish by resuming the training. Just as he explained earlier, an estoc is made for piercing… so now he wants you to give it a try by stabbing him. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ As you reluctantly stab him, Knight keeps telling you to stab harder and harder. You eventually stop, but he asks you not to hold back. You should know how high his HP is, so small wounds aren’t a problem to him.

Knight: “In fact, I’d be happy to have my HP decrea—”
You: “…” (⊙ω⊙✿)

Once a do-M always a do-M. 。o@(^ゝω・)@o。ニコッ♪

Knight quickly stops himself, but he notices that you’re giving him a doubtful stare. He asks if you think that he’s using this training as an excuse to get tortured by you, but you’re 100% certain that it’s the real reason. (((壊゚∀゚)))ァヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャ Knight says he won’t deny it though, because he does have that desire in the corner of his heart LOL. He points out that it’s like killing two birds with one stone. You’ll get better at swordsmanship, and he’ll gain pleasure at the same time. He knows that pain given by the woman he loves will carry him away in waves of sweet pleasure. ✿*,(*´◕ω◕`*)+✿.* You can only wonder why Knight turned into such a pervert, but he reminds you that it was you who turned him this way… which you can’t deny at all. 。゚(゚ノ∀`゚)゚。アヒャヒャ Knight smiles saying he’ll get you to take responsibility as well, and you can do that forever at his side.

Returning with Knight

Knight recalls that on the night after the quest, he actually saw a presage that you’re going to leave the next day. The others probably saw it too, so he continued thinking about it—wondering if there are any other ways aside from letting you go. However, he comes to realize that things will always fall into place when the right time comes. This makes him feel stupid for worrying about it for so long, but he believes it must be the kindness of the god—who understands that he doesn’t want to be apart from you.

One day, Knight returns to your house after work. You welcome him and move to the kitchen, but he says you don’t have to prepare his meal in a hurry. He’s going to wash off his sweat first, so you can continue studying for a while. However, you’re not happy to see a wound on his hand. Knight assures you that it’s only a scratch though, and he refuses to have it treated either. It will eventually heal even if they leave it, so he doesn’t think it’s necessary. Besides, he can enjoy his HP going down until then. Σ(゚ー゚;) It doesn’t decrease much with this level of damage though, so he finds it a bit lacking LOL. Ignoring Knight’s do-M ramblings, you ask him to let you treat his wound already… but he doesn’t want to bother you. He’ll heal himself with herbs, so you should finish studying instead. If you don’t meet today’s quota, he’ll feel lonely since you can’t give him any attention.

As he walks to a corner, Knight mentions that Dancer was quite thoughtful. When Knight went to chase after you, Dancer secretly slipped some herbs into his armor. At first he only had two, but now the herbs have grown to fill two planters. Knight finds them very useful, because they can heal small wounds in an instant. When Knight uses one of the herbs to heal himself, you say you never thought that it’s possible to cultivate them in this world. Knight is certain that Dancer didn’t have a clear prediction either, but he can stay in this world… so as far as logic goes, it’s also possible to cultivate the herbs. You never thought that he’d follow you though, and he laughs saying he was so desperate back then. He didn’t want to lose you, and it was the only thing in his mind. However, Knight never regrets his decision. In fact, his heart flutters in joy whenever he thinks about how he can always stay with you. (人´∀`)☆゜’・:*

On the other hand, you’re worried about Knight. You wonder if he finds it hard to live in a world he’s not familiar with, and he admits that it feels a bit lacking because there are no mighty opponents for him to torture himself with fight. Knight says it’s something trivial though, and he doesn’t find his new life hard at all. In fact, he’s enjoying each day to the fullest—because he can see you right in front of him. Knight then touches your lips saying they’re always so soft and warm, and it makes him feel relieved. It lets him know that you’re really here, and that’s what he finds important—not the world where he lives in. If you need him and wish to stay with him forever, it’d make him really happy. You turn red and point out that it’s really obvious though, because you always thought that it was you who brought him into this world. Upon hearing this, Knight smiles saying your and his earnest wish must have created this miracle.

Knight then hugs you and says there’s nothing to worry about. He gains pleasure from pain, and he seeks thrills on his own will. ヽ(*´ー`*)ノ He’s currently working at a construction site, and the people there value him highly thanks to that. His stamina and strength are extraordinary, and he happily accepts dangerous tasks as well. His performance is so outstanding that the commander invited him to become a permanent employee and promises to raise his pay. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Knight also mentions that people who can survive with light injuries after getting hit by a fallen steel frame seem unusual in this world. Σ(-`Д´-ノ;)ノ!? You’re really shocked to hear that happening to him, but Knight doesn’t get why you’re so surprised. Back in the game world, he had to go through greater danger numerous times. This makes you feel bad since you’re the one who caused it, but he laughs and asks you not to worry—it’s all in the past now.

Knight also informs you that on the way home, he was approached by a strange man. The man asked if he was interested to change occupations and become… a host. Due to his looks, manners and polite way of speaking, the man believed Knight would be very popular among the customers. He might even be the no. 1 one day! *。☆:・’ヽ(*・ω・)ノ*:・’゚☆゚・*: However, Knight immediately refused upon learning that the job involves serving a lot of women. He was told that the no. 1 host gets an exceptionally high payment, but as a knight, the only person he should ever serve is you. Knight then kneels down and pledges his eternal loyalty, devoting his body, soul and everything to you. You turn red when Knight is about to seal his vow with a kiss to your hand, but then he says this isn’t enough.

In this world, there’s only one pain that Knight can never endure—the pain of losing you. It wouldn’t give him any pleasure, and in fact would only lead him to eternal doom. For him, a world without you is like a chaotic darkness. It’s not worth living. That’s why he’ll keep sealing his vow with kisses. He’ll stay by your side forever, and he’ll protect you no matter what. Knight then draws closer to kiss you, but realizes that he completely forgot about taking a bath. He’s supposed to wash off all the sweat and dirt first. You don’t mind having him that way, but he refuses to do the sacred kiss in this condition… so he asks you to wait for a while. He’s going to cleanse himself for a bit.

After stepping out of the bath, Knight thanks you for preparing new clothes for him. You explain that you wanted to buy them sooner, but you’ve been busy. Knight doesn’t mind though, and he laughs saying his knight attire would only attract attention if he wears it outside. People mistook him as an actor who was shooting for a movie before, and he was confused when they asked for his autograph LOL. Knight politely refused though, believing that he shouldn’t hand out his autograph carelessly. He doesn’t want to sign a contract and get separated from you. Just as he said earlier, his loyalty is yours alone. If he ever breaches his own vow, then death will fall upon him. When you ask him not to say such things, Knight apologizes saying he didn’t mean to make you worry… and you don’t have to worry. He’s a knight who protects you, and he won’t leave you that easily. As the proof, Knight leans in and kisses you to seal his vow of eternal loyalty. Then he says he loves you.

I have no words to describe how hilarious Knight is. (((壊゚∀゚)))ァヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャヒャ Knight is a gentleman who’s always respectful towards you, and he treats you politely all the time. Except maybe when he tries to peek on you in the hot springs, but let’s put that aside. He takes pride in his “noble knight” image, so that’s how he acts most of the time. Now this only makes it extra wonderful when he enters do-M mode, because his knightly image completely goes out the window. アヒャヒャ。゚(゚ノ∀`。゚(゚ノ∀ヽ゚)゚。´∀ヽ゚)゚。ヒャヒャ I really love how you’re still charmed by Knight’s smile though, even though you just witnessed his do-M adventure in the cave LOL. To be honest I’m not a fan of knights in RPGs because what is defense, I only know offense they tend to be slow, but I love this old man Knight. My second favorite after Monk. ❤

  1. Oh my god, this Dot Kare installment sounds so delicous. 8D I’ve only read your introductions and thoughts yet, because I want to discover the wonderful characters myself, but I guess it will take a bit longer, until my copy arrives. I guess the 3rd game will be here before the 2nd. xDDD

I’m actually really really looking forward to the 3rd game. I mean Sugitan and Maou-sama!!! And don’t forget the lewd dark knight and the yandere villager. Man, Rejet really did a good job on this series until now. wwwww

    • It is! The game is much more fun if you play it yourself anyway, so have fun when your copy arrives. Though it sounds like you’ll be having fun with Evil Lord’s gang first. I’m excited for the 3rd game too, need more Sugita in my life. 8D Dark Knight sounds like he’ll be a really sad character though LOL. Villager, on the other hand, sounds like srs bzns. His dark side is so hot though, and there’s also a slime that loves being naked and sticking to you. :3c

  2. YAY! This is what I’ve been waiting for!! (≧∇≦)/ I never thought the moment of a knight who will become do-M has come… I mean…I know knights usually have high stats of DEF and HP especially tankers. Ever since I played MMORPG, I always wondered “are they do-M or something?”
Rejet… I don’t know whether I should thanking you or not… you make my wondering came true! (*^ワ^*)
I hope Rejet makes longer plot for Dot Kareshi and crossover between those characters. I’m really looking forward the interactions between Priest and Knight or Brave and Maou.
Thank you for your translation as always!

    • LOL, well… the reason why they’re tanking is because they have high HP and defense. xD They can take hits for much less damage than other people, and combine that with a knight’s noble way of thinking, it’s natural for them to want to protect others. Not to the point of becoming a do-M though, that’s exclusive to Dot Kare’s old man knight. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ That’s an interesting way to look at it though.

Yeah, even if longer games aren’t happening, I’m really hoping they release more drama CDs for this franchise. The characters occasionally bring up members of the other parties, so I want to see them interacting with the characters outside of their group.

  3. WOW! Knight is Awesome XD
We’re the same!! He’s my second fav after Monk too ^w^ :D
Yet, I can’t help feel cheeky while reading his “gentleman” lines 壊゚∀゚
I kept thinking that’s really old-fashioned, and made me pause a bit imagining the heroine reactions while Knight keeps pledging his royalty, “how embarrassing!!” that’s what she’ll feel XD
He’s still pretty cool though!! >ww*

  4. OMFG! Why are the two perverts in this game so gentleman-like and just wonderful??! Both Knight and Monk are cuties; I can’t handle it! Overall, I felt that this cast is much more sweeter and had a stronger bond with the heroine. In the first game, (to me anyways) the cast was much more lustful(? not sure how to describe it) towards the heroine. Especially the part after you finish the quest where the guys visit the heroine at the inn, and they get her all close and all. Then their voice drops (I’m looking at you Wizard >.>) and I’m all like, “This is too dangerous but I like it!” (Rejet y u make me do- M??) omg Sorry! I went a bit off-topic there! Oh yeah, do they ever address where the first cast is when the heroine is traveling with the second crew (Monk, Knight, Dancer, and Beastmaster)? I wish they would have made the whole Dot Kareshi series longer so we could get to know more about each character. It would have been cool to have actual RPG elements rather than just a visual novel.

    • I know right. 8D
I didn’t expect to like them either, but wow they turned out to be super cute.

You’re right about Knight’s party having stronger feelings for the heroine. At the start of the game, the god mentioned that they’ve been longing for you so badly. I’m sure Brave’s party missed you too, but their grudge / desire to make you take responsibility felt stronger. On the other hand, the members of Knight’s party only want to see you. They didn’t focus as much on the consequences on your actions, since they don’t really mind as long as they can see you.

Unfortunately, they never mentioned anything about Brave’s party in this game. The characters know each other though, and you can hear them briefly talking about members of other parties in the extra menu. It’d be nice if we can have more games / CDs for Dot Kareshi in the future. :D

  5. Thank you for reviewing Dot Kareshi II! thanks to you, I can get the ending savely. First time I heard Knight, he is a true do-M and a bit shocked when hear hirakawa daisuke (because I played Brothers Conflict BB before).
Why Knight look like true gentle-man in the ending??? Because he is really look like pervert ossan in other routes. I wonder, how old is he? because Beastmaster and dancer keep calling him ossan (old man).,.

    • Going from Ukyou to this do-M old man should be a nice change. 8D
Knight is a gentleman by nature. That’s his real personality. He just got warped and turned into a do-M because of you LOL. Both Monk and Knight are 25. Not that old, but considering Dancer and Beastmaster are still in their teens…

  6. Wait…. wait…. WHAT! I don’t know what to say when I saw 5 freaking new review in here and it is from the full of cute-hilariously-pervert Dot Kareshi! Gee, I need to marathon it now… but, a-n-y-w-a-y~ good job on it, you give me a good laugh on Knight. I need to agree with you about Knight… really, what do we need of a defense when we can just swipe the enemy in one go (though some of the older game make me think a defense as necessity). But anyway, nice to see you again Rin~ Oh and yeah, it’s trivial question but, which bachelor/bachelorette you target on RF4? (o´艸`o)ァハ♪

    • Thanks! Dot Kareshi is so fun because it’s short and light. 8D
You’re right. Some games force you to have defense if you don’t want to die within 3 seconds, but if a game allows us to truck through it just with high offense… I’ll definitely take that path over defense LOL.

      As for RF4, I’m… currently hareming. _(:3」∠)_
The bachelors are all so cute, I can’t help it. So far only Kiel hasn’t accepted my confession yet, so once he accepts my harem will be complete. My heart belongs to Dylas though, so I’m going to marry him first. :3c

      • Short and Light….. really is a nice thing to play when we just want to look at the good old day… *cough* I mean, rest in between big game. :D
I love those times when the boss gave me a nasty damage….. plenty of reason to smithen it into pieces. khukhukhu….. but really, if we can just smack the head of monster with offence and speed (read: attack them before they attack us) then I will really go to that path.

Gee, what a sinful one you are, building a harem for yourself~ 。゚(゚ノ∀`゚)゚。アヒャヒャ
I know that they are all cute and all that though so I understand your reason for hareming them all~ And here I thought Kiel will be the easiest to accept the confession…. but well, there might be some….. condition……. maybe. Haha, Dylas is a good looking man I admit…. and he is also a former horse so……. he is simply hot.

  7. Ahhhhhhh~ So great ^ u ^!!! It’s a great game to play even if you don’t have time OTL (how to balance part time job with school?!?!?!? I no how what.) I see you’re playing rune factory 4! How are you liking it so far? It’s fun to play but my money supply is always 100 hahaha!! Argh, I have no time to place rune factory or brilliant blue :( I seriously need to find time in my life to do this stuff T_T!! Any other rpgs you playing?

Thanks for the review as always~ :D <3

    • I have no idea how to balance time either. I wish money and time can just grow on trees because I find it really hard to manage them LOL. Rune Factory 4 is great though, definitely worth your money if you decide to get it later. :D

I’m also playing Pokemon X at the moment, but I think I’m pretty much done with the game at this point. Might go back to blogging soon.

  8. Hello ^^
Maybe it’s a bit late but I would like to know if you need to download a special program on the computer to play the game
    Thanks in advance ^^

  9. Another question ^^
